BERNICE H. RIZZO, (nee Duke) of Hackensack, formerly of Fairview, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 8, 2012 at the age of 88. Bernice and her husband Pat owned and operated Gateway Travel Inc. in Fairview, NJ for over 35 years. They both especially enjoyed traveling together all around the world. Beloved wife of 49 years to the late Pat Rizzo. Loving mother of Patricia Delaney and her husband Frank of Hackensack, Deborah Labarbera of Dumont, Denise Rizzo of Ridgefield Park, Joseph Rizzo and his wife Mary of Washington Twp., and the late Robert Rizzo and his wife Lori of N. Bergen. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Patrick, Jason, Rocky, Tiffany, Danny, Anthony and Alexis. Great grandmother of Katie, Kiernan, Hannah and Breanne. Dearest sister of Margaret Otchy of Hackensack, Annamarie Pallett and her husband Bob of Florida, Regina Decella of PA and the late Walter and Gilbert Duke. Bernice is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Funeral on Monday, March 12, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Ave. Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Fairview. Visiting will be held on Sunday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM.
