Obituary of Salvatore V. Cabibbo

Salvatore V. Cabibbo, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at the age of 84 years. Born in Cliffside Park he lived in Hackensack for 50 years. Prior to retiring, he was a mechanical engineer for Kamine Development Corp. of Union. He was past president and member of Local Chapter # 25 of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. Beloved husband for 65 years of MaryAnn (nee Genovese). Devoted father of Greg Cabibbo and wife Stacy of Tuxedo, NY, Dianne DiMassino and husband George of Hackensack,Linda Toga and husband Andy of Setauket, NY, MaryAnn DiGiammerino and husband David of Medway, MA, Sal Cabibbo and wife the late Noreen of Ridgefield Park, Steven Cabibbo of Spring City, PA. Donna Cabibbo and husband Brian Hoell of Millis, MA, and Michael Cabibbo and wife Janice Sullivan of Saugerties, NY. Cherished grandfather of Greg, Chris, Jared, Erika, Daniel, Jessica, Thea, Chris, Sal, Katelyn, Marissa, Isabella, Antonio, Rebecca, Craig, Keith, Cole and Marcus. Adored great grandfather of Derek, Lukas, Shane, Jack and Madelin. Dearest brother of Nellie Fader of Hasbrouck Heights, and Joseph Cabibbo and his wife Ruby of Madison, WI. Following family reflections at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 8th, at 10:00 AM the procession will proceed to George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
