Obituary of Ismael Jason Colon

ISMAEL "JASON" COLON, of Hackensack, passed away on Sunday, July 17th, 2016 at the age of 74 years. Born in Puerto Rico to the late Ismael and Juanita Colon. Beloved husband of Joanne (nee Mania) for over 35 years. Dearest brother of Blanca "Blanche" Serena of Long Island, NY, Eduvigis "Vinnie" Sanchez of Tampa, FL, and Catherine Castro and her husband Rene of New York City, NY. Jason is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Cherished brother-in-law of Madeline M. Mania of Hackensack and Marie Loidi and her husband Jose of Hackensack. Jason was adored by all. The funeral will begin on Friday, July 22nd at 8:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, 300 Soldier Hill Road, Township of Washington, NJ 07676. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 – 9 PM.
