Obituary of Antoinette M. Brammer

ANN M. DI NATALE BRAMMER, of Hackensack passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at the age of 89. Ann worked as a secretary to her husband Joseph Brammer keeping the books for his construction business after they got married. Since then she has been a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She dedicated her life to everyone around her, always opening up her home to those in need of a place to stay or to drop in without notice with a guarantee of a great Italian meal anytime day and night. She worried about everyone's else's needs and wants before her own, including baking for the homeless, donating her time with her husband to many different charity organizations, and being there for you no matter what. She was very easy-going, understanding, and forgiving, always there to talk to and make things better, helping you to smile and laugh, and make you feel you could do anything no matter the obstacles. Born on All Saints Day she lived up to that name and she truly was an angel. She will be greatly missed by those fortunate enough to know and love her. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved wife of 71 years to Joseph H. Brammer. Mother of Joann Neves and Charles Brammer. Cherished grandmother of six grandchildren and great-grandmother of eight. Dearest sister of the late Joseph Di Natale. The funeral will begin on Friday August 19, 2016 at 9:45 AM at the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 – 4 & 7 - 9 PM. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to either Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10065 or a charity of your choice.
