Obituary of Anthony J. Ribustello

Anthony J. Ribustello, of Teaneck, passed away peacefully after a short and courageous battle against cancer with dignity and grace, on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at the age of 73 years. Prior to retiring he was an Information Technology Professional for Hartz Mountain Industries of Secaucus. He was an active member at the Rodda Center for the Senior Citizens of Teaneck, where he did clay sculpting, acrylic and oil painting. He loved gardening and was an enthusiastic horticulturist. He was married to the love of his life for 40 years, Karen R. (nee Messina). Devoted father of Jessie Ribustello of Fair Lawn and Katie Ingenito and her husband James of Dumont. Cherished grandfather of Samantha, Cassandra-Lyn and Mackenzie, Dearest brother of Dee Dee McGovern of Atlanta, Georgia, Joanne Snider and her husband Marty of New City, NY, Donna Paolina and her husband Joseph of New York, and Denise Stahl and her husband Walter of Ephrata, Pa. Beloved son in law of Marie Messina of Saddle Brook and the late Deacon Vincent Messina. Adored brother in law of Paul Messina and his wife Nancy of South Brunswick and Maria Potter and her husband Bruce of Saddle Brook. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Francis R. C. Church, 114 Mount Vernon St., Ridgefield Park with burial following at Hackensack Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 - 8 PM.
