Obituary of Rosalie V. Ferro

ROSALIE V. MIRABITO FERRO, age 103, of Cliffside Park, formerly of Hackensack and Oradell passed away peacefully on Saturday November 5th 2016. Born on December 2, 1912 in Garfield, NJ. Rosalie had previously worked for Stern's in Paramus, Bendix in Teterboro and as a telephone operator in New York City. She was a parishioner of Church of the Immaculate Conception, Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Ferro Jr. (1999). Daughter of the late Fortunato and Mildred. Loving mother of Trudy Calabrese of Toms River and Anne Ferro of Cliffside Park. Cherished grandmother of Deborah Gallucci and her husband Tom, Frank Calabrese and his wife Lisa, Donna Douvris and her husband Tony, Michael Calabrese and his wife Lisa, Robert Kelly and Anthony Kelly and Helena Duarte, great-grandmother of Tommy, Michael, John, Frankie, Christopher, Michelle, Peter and Angela, great-great-grandmother of Frances Rose. Dearest sister of Jean Minning of Milford, PA and the late Alfred and Thomas Mirabito. Loyal companion, of her dog Jia and her devoted caregiver and friend Candy Garcia. The funeral will begin on Wednesday, November 9, at 9:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 – 9:00 PM for visitation.
