Obituary of Peter S. Mirra

PETER S. MIRRA of Nanuet, NY formerly of Spring Valley, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 13, 2017, at the age of 67 years. Prior to retiring he was a Superior Court Officer for the State of New York in Manhattan, NY. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Beloved son of the late Steven N. and Mary T. (nee Dunne) Mirra. Dearest brother of John Mirra of Phoenix, AZ and Catherine M. Mirra of Hackensack. Loving nephew of Betty Miller of Parlin. Also survived by many loving cousins and friends. The funeral will begin on Tuesday, January 17th at 9:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack with burial following at the Frederick Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery in New Hempstead, NY. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 – 8 PM.
