Obituary of Nettie Sutera

NETTIE SUTERA of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2017, at the age of 91 years. Prior to retiring she worked for Goldberg Slipper Factory in Hackensack for many years. She was a member of the Garfield Senior Citizens and Choir, The Children of Mary Society and a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Hackensack. Devoted daughter of the late Gasper and Mary (Segreto) Sutera. Loving mother of Lucy Bianchi and her husband Louis of N.C. and Maria Catena of Ocean Gate, NJ. Cherished grandmother of Marisa Lynn Reis and her husband John and Michele Marie Catena. Dearest sister of the late Pauline Ferrara, Michael Sutera, Anthony Sutera, Rose Sutera (her twin), William Sutera and Faye D'Arminio. Nettie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many close friends. The funeral will begin from the funeral home on Thursday, March 2nd, at 9:45 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack. Entombment will follow at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00- 8:00 PM for visitation.
