Obituary of Angela Vita

ANGELA MEO VITA, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a long battle with Alzheimer's on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the age of 90 years. Born in Macchiagodena, Italy, she came to the United States in 1953 settling in Hackensack. Prior to retiring she worked for Dentronics Industries in Hackensack for many years. Angela enjoyed cooking, gardening and especially spending time with her adored grandchildren. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Vita who died in 2013. Loving mother of Gennaro Vita and his wife Susan and Maria Clinton and her husband Charles. Cherished grandmother of Christine, Julia, Catherine and Diana. Dearest sister of the late Domenico Meo, Maria DiPardo, Antoinetta Pizzanelli and Felice Meo. Angela is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral will begin on Saturday, March 11th, at 8:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 – 9:00 PM for visitation.
