Obituary of Alfred A. Falato

Alfred A. Falato of South Hackensack, died on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the age of 89. Prior to his retiring he was a Custodian for Memorial School in South Hackensack for many years. He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII and he was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved husband of the late Ida F. (nee Iacono) 2014. Loving father of Denise Falato of South Hackensack and the late Joseph Falato. Cherished grandfather of Anne Marie Ivery and her husband Timothy, Great grandfather of Carter Joseph Ivery and Grayson Michael Ivery. The Funeral on Thursday June 1, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9PM for visitation. Donations may be made in Alfred's memory to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
