Obituary of Blase J. Coppola

Blase J. Coppola, of South Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2017, at the age of 90 years. Prior to retiring he was a truck driver for Waste Management of Lyndhurst. Previously he worked for Eastern Corrugated Corp. of Clifton. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the V.F.W. # 8005 of South Hackensack. He was a parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Hackensack and a member of the South Hackensack Seniors. Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Anzevino) who died in 2012. Devoted father of Alan Coppola and his wife Jenny of California and Frank Coppola and his wife Susan of Demarest. Loving grandfather of Rocco and Nicco. Dearest brother of the late Teresa Novotny, Anthony, Ralph, Dominic, Joseph and Michael. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. The funeral on Thursday, June 15th at 8:45 AM, from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack, with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
