Obituary of Biagio Scillieri

SCILLIERI, BIAGIO Formerly of South Hackensack and Toms River, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at the age of 93. Prior to retiring, he worked as a barber for Joe's Barber Shop in Wayne for many years. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved husband of Adelina (nee Domicoli), cherished father of Josephine DePierro and her husband Joseph and Tina Vernola. Loving grandfather of Francesco, Maria Cristina, Alexa and Amanda, great-grandfather of Giuliana and Daniella. Dearest brother of Francesca Rovetto and Gaetana Vitale. Biagio also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. The Funeral will begin on Thursday November 14th at 8:45 AM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, with entombment following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00PM for visitation.
