Obituary of Lennie Lanez

Linnie Lanez, of Huston TX, formerly of Dumont, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2020, at the age of 74 years. She was born in Cavite Philippines. In 1968 she came to this county and settled in Jersey City and had lived in Dumont for many years prior to going to Huston where she lived for 14 years. Prior to retiring she was a Special Education Teacher for Jersey City Board of Education. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Huston TX. Where she was a, lector, CCD Teacher and a Eucharistic Minister. Devoted mother of Dewie Klava and her husband Stephen of Chicago, Jason Berger of Hackensack, Cherished grandmother of 5 Grandchildren. Dearest sister of Tanching Lanez and his wife Diana of Philippines, Phillip Lanez and his wife Julie of Hackensack, Thomas Lanez and his wife Carmencita of Freehold, George Lanez and his wifeMarina of Maywood, Sancho Lanez and his wife Marlene of Bergenfield, and the late Guillermo Lanez and Crisencio Lanez. The funeral on Saturday, January 18th, at 8:45 AM, from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, with Burial following at George Washington Memorial Park . The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 – 8 PM.
