My name is Jim Haggerty, another former Jesuit. I got to know Robert at our reunions. We spoke at our zoom small group meeting a few days before his death. I again thanked him for his beautiful pictures especially his portrait pictures of many fellow former Jesuits and companions. May be Rest In Peace.

Mr. Curtis was one of, if not THE best teacher I ever had. He was a genius and knew how to bring the genius out in his students. He was tough but fair, in the best way possible.
He epitomized "nerd" and wore the label proudly. He had a great sense of humor, masked most times, but brilliant when it came out. He was the first to teach me about email, keeping in touch with me that way when I first went to college in 1991.
I haven't seen him since then, yet I am extremely saddened by this news. I kept alongside of him via Facebook, which gave me even further insight into his incredible mind.
My best to his family, especially given these tough times right now to have to grieve.
Take care, his student for eternity,
