Obituary of Ursula M Roberts

Ursula M. Roberts was born in Grenada, West Indies on October 31st 1947. She was the third child of George & Elsa Roberts. In her younger years, she worked tirelessly in Grenada toiling the soil. In 1970, she was baptized as a Seventh Day Adventist in St. Croix, and have since then been striving and pressing on in the LORD. Ms. Ursula immigrated to the United States that same year, and worked as a domestic/nurse aide. She was married to Mr. Lubin "Clarence" Emile who has since passed on Our mother became a Registered nurse-working in various long term care facilities. For the last 20 years it was at Greystone Psychiatric Hospital. Ms. Ursula M. Roberts was a giver. It was all about the poor, the underprivileged, the disenfranchised, the homeless, the forgotten, and the castoffs/castaways. It was like that in so much so-that she sometimes forgot to care for herself. She is survived by her brother Michael, her children Patsy & Rachel Roberts, grandson-Peter Robertson, scores of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and acquaintances in Grenada, London, Trinidad & Tobago and here in the USA. And so-this plain & simple lady will be resting and waiting for the soon coming of our LORD & SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. Amen. A prayer service will be held 10:00AM, on Monday, August 24, 2020, at the G. Thomas Gentile funeral Home, 397 union Street. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 10:00AM – 2:00PM at the Funeral Home for visitation.
