Obituary of Mildred E. Zisa

Mildred E. Zisa, (nee Anderson) 94, of Maywood passed away peacefully, on Saturday October 3, 2020, at her home. She was born in Burlington, MA in 1926 and had lived in Maywood for 50 years. Mildred was an administrative assistant at Zisa Insurance Agency of Hackensack for more than 30 years before retiring as a homemaker. She enjoyed roller skating and bowling in her younger years and was an avid quilter. She loved to crochet. Most of all she loved her family. Beloved wife of the late John Zisa who died in 2013 and Edward Kauffunger who died in 1970. Devoted mother of the late Janet Adamec and Judith Potwora. Dearest sister of Marjorie Maginnis of Woburn, MA. Cherished grandmother of Donna Kelly and her husband Michael of Akron, PA, Michele Thibault and her husband Steven of Harwinton, CT, Karen Pedersen and her husband the late Theodore of Mahwah and Nadine Thorndycraft and her husband the late Thomas of Stoneham, MA. Adored great-grandmother of Chase and Shannon Kelly, Ashley and Julieann Thibault; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM with entombment following at Garden of Memories in Washington Township.
