Obituary of John Appice

John Appice John Appice, of Rochelle Park, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Englewood Medical Center at the age of 79 years. Born in Toritto, Italy, he came to this country in 1955 settling in New York and had lived in Rochelle Park for 14 years. Prior to retiring, he was the owner of Highland Falls Chrysler Plymouth Dealership in Highland Falls, NY. He was a member of the Toritto Mutual Aid Society. He loved going to Atlantic City and most importantly enjoyed his grandchildren. Beloved husband of the Late Maria Appice (nee Mongiello). Devoted son of Pasqua Appice of State Island, NY and the late Otto and Luisa (nee Moro) Appice. Loving father of Luisa Covino and her husband Anthony of Englewood Cliffs, Frank Appice and his wife Maria of Palisades Park, John Appice and and his wife Jennifer of Rochelle Park, and the late Francesca Appice. Loving grandfather of Gabriella, Angelica, Francesca, Anthony, Martina and Aiden. Dearest brother of Frank Appice and his wife Anna of Edgewater, Maddalena Mastrangelo of Westbury, NY, Beatrice Stoler and her husband David of Staten Island, NY and the late Immaculate and Dominick Appice. Prayer Service held at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Saturday, November 7, at 10:30 AM, with entombment following at Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 – 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers the family prefer that you honor his memory with a memorial donation to be given to the family to be used at their discretion.
