Obituary of Edward Slavinsky

EDWARD SLAVINSKY, 90 of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2021. Prior to retiring he worked as a machinist for Savarin in Palisades Park for many years. He proudly served his country during the Korean War and was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack. Beloved husband to the late Joan M. (nee Woltman) who passed away in 2014. Cherished brother to John A. Slavinsky of Tamarac, Florida. Edward is also survived by several nephews and cousins. The Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 13, 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Ave. Hackensack, with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack.
