So sorry to hear this devasting news today. Penny was a very kind and caring person, and one of a very small number of people I have trusted to take care of my own pets when leaving for vacation many years ago. Penny, you will be so missed but your spirit and good vibes will linger on with those who knew you. RIP.

I’m deeply sorry to hear the loss of Penny and her mom whom I had the pleasure of knowing for many years. Penny was a student at Fairmount School where I taught. She was a thoughtful and studious person who loved life. Her mom also volunteered there. They shall be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I just saw the news about Penny on a news story on the channel 2 news about her sister. I am in total shock. I first met Penny several years ago when I took my cat, who was very ill, to AHC for a second opinion. Penny was the first person I met when I walked through the door. She was so kind, friendly, and sympathetic. I only met her 3 or 4 times back then, but I could tell that she was a special person. Last September, after adopting my dog Ziggy, I went back to AHC, and was so happy to see Penny there. Whether I called or went there, she always was so friendly and helpful, and it was always nice to see her. And it was obvious how much she loved all of the animals, especially her own. I hope her fur babies have found a new home. I cannot imagine what it will be like when things return to normal and I walk through the doors of AHC and she is not there. My heart goes out to all of her family and friends for this terrible loss. We are all better for having known Penny.

It's still difficult to comprehend the shocking loss of dear sweet Penny. My sweetest memories of Penny were when we went to see Rick at the ABC news studio during his promotion of his book, and his book signing at Barnes and Noble in NYC, and the book signing at Bookends in Northern Jersey, and the cruises and concerts of course, and all the chance hotel meetings with Rick, and just so much more. Penny, you were always so giving and caring and such a special person that should have never been taken from us way too soon. I feel honored to have called you a special friend. You always made me smile.
You were there for me when my doggies passed, sending condolence cards. It meant so much. And, I'll never forget some of the "Rick goodies" you mailed me. I will hold all the memories close to my heart and you will always be a bright light that lights the way of everyone who loved you. I will miss you so much. Rest in Peace sweet Penny.
Much love to Nancy and the family.
My deepest condolences,
Lauren Fitzpatrick

My condolences on the loss of Penny. I take comfort that she is reunited will all her family that were waiting for her across the rainbow bridge. My sis and I were fortunate to have met the duo of The Wonder Twins at the 4th and final Rick Springfield and Friends Cruise..and they were our cabin neighbors. Lots of good times and acts of kindness. If you can work your magic in Heaven like you did on Earth....I look forward to seeing you again.

Penny, Penny, Penny. I will miss you so much. Through my tears I can still see your smiling face. I always looked for you first when I entered AHM and you were always there for me and my 2 furry children. Even when I texted you in your last days at the hospital, you asked me how my dog was doing.
My sincerest sympathies to the Hubbard family. Nancy, Penny spoke of you lovingly and often. My prayers go out to your mother and entire family. Please take care of her furry babies.
With a very heavy heart,

In life we meet people that leave a mark. Penny is one of those people. I can't still hear her voice even through I haven't seen her or talked to her in almost 4 years. She always had his smile that was brighter then the sun when you walked into AHC. She may be gone, but she will be hard to forget. Rest easy my friend.

Penny was an amazing woman. I met her at an Olivia Newton-John concert. She not only was friendly but helped me meet Olivia. Penny was so incredible she even was on Olivia's mind. When we were waiting for her to arrive and she did - Olivia said to Penny " I was wondering if you were going to be here " Penny you were a blessing on earth and now an angel in heaven. Nancy, I am so sorry for your loss.

This one time Penny called me and asked if I was going to go to some GH event the coming weekend . I told her I wasn’t going because I have 4 kids in college ... she told me my priorities were screwed up! I still laugh to this day. I am blessed and honored to have called you friend.

The thing I will remember most about Penny is when she would call me Brat in her silly way if there was a Rick concert or something that I was attending and she couldn’t attend. She loved to razz me like only she could. She loved her animals so much and was always to happy to show them off! Heaven has gained an angel. May you rest in eternal peace my friend.

My sweetest dearest Penny. In tears writing your tribute because we are all in disbelief. As a twin myself we shared that sisterhood. You were my crutch in 2020 when I lost my twin to a long illness. You were my go to person my confidante my furkids caretaker at AHC of Marlboro along with your amazing team.
You were always that one call away friend and my therapist when one of my cats became ill.
You were the calm in many of my storms. I am so lost you cant imagine. But I promise to live life. I will live life like you did.
I will always see the glass half full now. I will assure you that your memory will never ever be forgotten. I will celebrate you always. Rest in comfort my dear Penny. Don't forget to meet me at the gate when It's my turn.
Love you always...
