Obituary of Albert P. Dooley

Albert P. Dooley Jr., of Jupiter, Florida formerly of Hackensack passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the age of 88. Prior to retiring he was a Lieutenant for the Hackensack Police Department for 28 years, he was a member of Hackensack PBA Local #9, a Navy veteran of the Korean War and he was also an avid golfer. Devoted son of the late Albert P. Dooley Sr. and Margaret (nee Petersen). Beloved husband to Jeana T. (nee Mei). Loving father to the late Brian Dooley(1966), Barry Dooley of Hackensack and Michele Dooley of Hackensack. Cherished grandfather to Adrianna, Patric and Vincent. Dearest brother to Veronica Rossiter of Florida. Albert is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends in Florida and his dog "Jamie" who was his pride and joy. A prayer service will be held 10:00 AM, on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 PM for visitation.
