I will never forget how Tom helped my mother plan her wake and funeral 10 years before she passed so that I wouldn’t have to worry about taking care of anything. When my mom passed Tom had told me to call him immediately which I did. I did not have to worry about anything because he took care of everything for me! I will always be grateful for his kindness towards me when my mom passed. My deepest thoughts and prayers are with him and his family RIP

Our deepest Condolences to Josephine and all of the family. We were all shocked to hear the very sad news. Maybe now Tommy and Emil can have that golf game that Tommy talked about. May you all find strength in each other to get through this very difficult time and may he rest in peace.

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Josephine, Joseph, Lisa and Nicole. Having had the privilege to work under Tom for two years. Some of the best memories that I have are of us sitting down stairs in the working office and tom looking over at me and saying are you going to get me my munchkins from dunkin donuts with a large coffee. when I would get back he would eat some until he would hear Josephine walking down the stairs and then I would get told to hide the evidence it never really worked though because she always knew he was up to something. And of course for lunch he would send me to cosmos to get him and Josephine a spicy chicken cutlet sandwich. I will forever remember his sayings he always had a comment for everything. Tom was one of the most understanding people I ever had the pleasure to work for. He always encouraged me to get my Funeral Directors License. Tom taught me how do so much. He showed me how to treat someone loved one like they were my own. He taught me love kindness and respect above all compassion. He taught me how to be a well rounded funeral professional. Tom would always try to act so gruff but deep down he was the biggest teddy bear you'd ever meet. I want to thank the whole family for allowing them to share tom with all of us over the last 40 years of his funeral service career and allowing us to be part of them. Toms legacy will live on for years to come. Tom is what every Funeral Director should strive to be.

My sincerest condolences to Josephine, Joseph, Lisa, and Nicole and the entire extended family. Tom was a great friend to Holy Trinity Parish and School, and I am thankful to have known him as a parish priest and school Principal. Tom always gladly and happily responded to all our needs, be they spiritual, financial, or social. He rests now in the peace of the God he loved and served for so long. May his memory be a blessing to all.

Condolences from the Doherty family for the loss of Tommy, as he was known. He was a well known figure in Hackensack and it is a great loss to all. I even remember a couple of times he went to pick me up from college back in the 1980s with my brother and he was so funny. It’s a great memory. God bless his family.

My condolences to Joesph and your family! Prayers are coming for you all! He was a great man and he helped me with my husband obituary/paperwork. He’s going to be missed so much. I will always remember his smiling face and how he joked around with me and my family. Also especially when I was there for a wake for a friend or family member, Jimmy Jordan wasn’t around or just standing around doing nothing.

My very deepest sympathy to all of the Gentile family.Words are hard to express of my sorrow hearing of Tom's passing.
When my husband passed 13 years ago,Tom's son Joe was wonderful with every detail which he had learned from his father.
Jo and Tom were down the shore and came back just for the funeral Mass. Tom did me the honor of escorting me down the isle for his Brother Knight(Tony)
I could not have made it without him that day.
I will never forget his warmth
I will never forget Tom
