Raymond "Butch" Pace Jr. Obituary

Raymond "Butch" Pace, 81, of Hackensack passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Prior to retiring he owned and operated The Hungry Peddler Restaurant in Cresskill, NJ for many years, he was also a Veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife Karen Reilly-Pace and three sons, Christopher, Stephen and Raymond; and his sisters Gail Zybulewski and Karen Anderson. A special thank you to Atlas Healthcare at Maywood for their special attention and care in the final days. The Funeral will begin from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024, at 8:45 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, 400 Maywood Ave, Maywood. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made in memory of Butch to: Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436.
