Obituary of Ingely I. Salmins

Ingely I. Salmins (nee Schittek), of Midland Park formerly of Maywood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the age of 87 years. Prior to retiring she worked as an Administrator for Parents Magazine in Bergenfield for many years. Beloved wife of 54 years to the late Karlis E. Salmins (2015). Loving mother of, Karlis B. Salmins and his wife Grace of Wyckoff and Gerhard E. Salmins and his wife Sherry of Wyckoff and stepmother of Leane R. Zitkus and her husband Anthony of Queens, NY. Cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren, great grandmother of four and great great grandmother of two. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 27th, 2025, from 3:00 - 7:00 PM for visitation at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack.
