Obituary of Gary S. Coolick
Gary S. Coolick, of Maywood, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025 at the age of 79 years. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy, proudly serving on the USS Belmont from 1962-1966, after moving to Los Angles, CA Gary worked at the MGM Studios as a sound engineer, then at Capital Records as a recording engineer. Gary also owned and operated the Loose Caboose Train Hobby Shop in Bogota for over 50 years. Devoted son of the late Stanley and Gertrude Coolick, Dearest brother of Alice R. Martin and her husband Jim of Greenwood Lake, NY. Gary also leaves behind many close and dear cousins and friends. He will truly be missed by all. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. A prayer service will be held on Thursday morning, March 20th at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack.
