Obituary of William J. Marshall III

William J. Marshall III, of South Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the age of 62. William worked as a roofer for J.P. Patti Roofing Company for many years. He was a member of the Son's of the American Legion Post # 310 Little Ferry, and parishioner of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Hackensack. Devoted son to the late William J. Marshall II (2002) and Josephine M. Marshall (nee Unger) (2023). Loving father of William J. Marshall IV and his wife Vicky, Dearest brother of Patricia Weidner and her fiancé Arthur (Butch) Andes of Little Ferry, Michael Marshall of South Hackensack, Kathleen Franklin and her husband William of Saylorsburg, PA, Thomas Marshall and his wife Ann of Little Ferry, Colleen Emery and her husband Todd of Teaneck, Arlene Richter and her husband Ernest of Inman, SC and the late Daniel Marshall (2020) and his widow Christine of Hackensack. William leaves behind loving nieces Erin Emery, Ashley and Kaitlyn Franklin, and Emily Marshall, and nephews Joseph and John Weidner, William Franklin and his wife Sara, Steven and Jason Emery and his fiancé Anabelle GomezOsorio, Kyle Richter and his fiancé Colleen Costello, and Daniel Marshall, and great-nephews, Jayden Emery and William Richter. The Funeral will begin on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack.
