Catherine M. Pedersen (nee O'Keefe), died on Monday, May 19, 2025 at her home in Teaneck at the age of 92 years. Born in Jersey City, she resided in Bergenfield before coming to Teaneck 64 years ago. Prior to retiring she worked as an Administrative Assistant at Lindenmeyr in New York City for many years. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack. She is pre-deceased by her husband of 50 years Herbert D. Pedersen (2006), and survived by her daughter Monica Bostler and her husband James Bostler of Ridgewood, her grandchildren Caitlin and Daniel, and her son Daniel Pedersen of Mission Viejo, California. The Funeral will begin on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 9:45 AM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack. Cremation will be private. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home.
