Jean Garofalo, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 23, 2025 at the age of 92 years. Prior to retiring she worked as a Legal Secretary for the Law Offices of Beattie Padovano in Montvale, NJ for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church in Hackensack, where she was also a former trustee, an extraordinary minister, lector and valued member of many committees. She will truly be missed by all. Devoted daughter to the late Ignazio and Rose Garofalo (nee Rizzo). Dearest sister of Grace Ziadie and her husband Rudolph, Marie Faccone and her husband, the late John Faccone. Cherished aunt of Marie Gullander, Stephen Ziadie and his wife Lynn, Theresa Ziadie, Annmarie Ziadie and John J. Faccone and his wife Nancy. Jean is also survived by one great niece and three great nephews and many close friends. The Funeral will begin from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, on Saturday, June 28th, at 8:45 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 10:00 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, NJ, with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the Funeral Home.
