Henrietta A. Smith (nee Malone), 100, of New Milford, formerly of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025. Prior to retiring she worked as a School Lunch Aide for Berkley Street Elementary School in New Milford for many years, prior she worked at Majestic in Teterboro making binders for notebooks.

Henrietta is preceded in death by her husband, Wendel G. Smith (1989), her sisters,Angelina Homer, Susan Lewis, Rosemarie DeLorenzo, and her daughter, Henrietta (Hank) Votto (2005). Devoted mother of Denise Votto Post. Cherished grandmother to Stephen Post, Courtney van Gendt and her husband Chad van Gendt.

Loving great grandmother to Dylan Post and his significant other Maria Lorelli and Cheyenne van Gendt .

Henrietta is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will be held as a private event.
