Raymond J. Conkle of Maywood, NJ, passed away, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the age of 73 years. Ray was a proud Marine Veteran who served 27 months in the Vietnam War. Raymond retired from the U.S. Postal Service where he was a shop steward and a mailhandler. He also worked at the Camp Lejeune Medical Hospital in North Carolina following his military service and had a combined federal service of 42 years before retiring. Beloved husband of Norma A. (nee Cadamatre). Loving father of --Christopher, Jason, Michele and Melony; Cherished grandfather of Skylar, Nicholas, Jayden, Kyle and Cody; Cherished great-grandfather of Vivian, Levi and Maverick, and Sunni. Dearest brother of Carol and Diane; and uncle to many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 20th, 2025 from 2:00 – 4:00PM at the G.
