Anna Luppino (nee Grieco), of Hackensack, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at the age of 97 years. Prior to being a full time stay at home mother, she worked as a Telephone Switch Board Operator for New Jersey Bell in Oradell for many years. She was a parishioner of Holy trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack. Beloved wife for 64 years to the late Louis Luppino (2015). Devoted mother of Louis Luppino and his wife Suzanne of Hackensack, Cynthia Mucaro and her husband Damian of Hackensack and the late David Luppino who died in 2009 and his wife Mary of Wayne. Cherished grandmother of Louis and his wife Heather, Sara and her husband Joseph, Daniel, Scott, Allison and David. Adored great grandmother of Joseph, Vincent, Sophia, Lucas and Emma. Dearest sister of the late Rosina Bentivegna, Italia Poveromo of Paramus, Louisa Monro of Norwood, Antoinette Finck of Hillsdale, Ralph Grieco of New Milford, and Stephen Grieco of New Windsor, N.Y. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Funeral will begin on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 8:45 AM at the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus.
