Cecelia M. Galante (nee Zeppone), of Lodi, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at the age of 75 years. Prior to retiring she worked as a Nutritionist for Bergen County Academies High School in Hackensack for many years retiring in 2022. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Rochelle Park. Beloved wife for almost 50 years to Anthony R. Galante. Loving mother of Sherri Haebler and her husband Ray of Lodi and the late Jeanine M. Galante (1999). Adored grandmother of Isabella and Raymond Anthony Haebler. Devoted daughter to Connie Zeppone (nee LePore) and the late Carl Zeppone (2009). Dearest sister of Maryann Logerfo of Saddle Brook and the late Carl Zeppone. Cherished aunt of several nieces and nephews. The Funeral will begin from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, on Saturday, August 30, at 8:45 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 10:00 AM at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 488 Saddle River Road, Saddle Brook, NJ, with entombment following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 29, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the Funeral Home.
