Paola E. Velez, of Lodi, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the age of 32. Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, she came to the United States in 2004, bringing love, joy, and warmth to everyone she met.

Paola worked as a Patient Coordinator at the Aydin Center for Plastic Surgery in Paramus and was a devoted parishioner of Most Holy Name Church in Garfield. She was the beloved daughter of Jorge Velez and Fanny M. Parraga-Velez, cherished sister of Jossie Velez and Jorge Velez, loving sister-in-law to Luisa Adarve, loving aunt to Peter, Kevin, Camila, Mathew, Kamille, and Skylar, devoted fiancée of Christian Marshall, and proud dog mom to Dino.

Her kindness, laughter, and loving spirit touched everyone around her and will be deeply missed.

Family and friends are invited for visitation on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 5:00–9:00 PM at G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Most Holy Name Church, 99 Marsellus Place, Garfield, NJ, with interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
