Stefani Pedone, 76, (nee Belloise), passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Villa Marie Claire Hospice, Saddle River, NJ, in the presence of her loving sister, Virginia Hotte, and daughter Christina Thelen.

Born in the Bronx, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Serafina Belloise. Stef was a resident of Hackensack for 40+ years, having moved there from Redondo Beach, CA, where she met and married her husband, Vincenzo.

Stef attended Sts. Philip and James grammar school and Christopher Columbus HS in the Bronx. She also attended many theater workshops in New York City, as acting was her passion. Stef was an avid boxing enthusiast, being the daughter of a celebrated middleweight contender. Stef served as the Recording Secretary for the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame for over thirty years. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Champ, a boxing organization based in the Bronx, New York.

Stef was very active in St. Francis R.C. Church where she served as a lector, eucharistic minister and was a member of the Third Order. Additionally, she was an active member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy in America and UNICO.

Veterans were always dear to Stef's heart. For the past 35 years she would prepare boutonnieres for the Veterans Day celebration in Hackensack. But, above all, her greatest passion was caring for everyone. She was everyone's mother, sister and friend. She was always available to drive someone to the store, cook a meal for a hungry friend or just visit to offer companionship to one in need. Stefani loved celebrations and traditions. She always found a reason to have a party, to smile and laugh and have a good time.

Stefani is survived by her sisters, Virginia Hotte (Clifford) and Christina Chirco (Thomas) and her brother, Stephen (Rayann), husband, Vincenzo Pedone, daughters, Christina Thelan (Richard), and Serafina Pedone, and son, Vincenzo Pedone (Destiny), grandchildren, Jillian Fonseca (Rhudson), Samantha Thelen, Romeo and Eden Pedone and great grandchildren, Olivia and Roman Fonseca.

The Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack on Thursday, October 9th at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in her memory to Villa Marie Claire Hospice (www.villamarieclaire.org) or MSK Cancer Center (www.mskcc.org).
