Aurora Montella (nee D'Aivtolo), of Hackensack, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of 67 years to Marzio Montella. Devoted mother to her late son Remo. Dearest sister of Ercole D'Aiutolo of Italy. Cherished aunt of Genny, Anzio, Antonio and Giovannina. Aurora was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church in Hackensack NJ. She found joy in cooking and baking. And she was loved by so many family and fiends. The Funeral will begin from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, on Tuesday, October 7, at 8:45 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 10:00 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, NJ, with burial following in Connecticut on Wednesday.
