Pat Kelly Stanton

August 24, 1935 – November 22, 2025

Pat Stanton of Maywood left this earth peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, after a long health battle. Pat was born in the Bronx before moving to Hackensack in 1974 and then Maywood in 1977. Predeceased by her parents Agnes, Frank, and Richard and her loving husbands, Raymond Kelly (1986) and William Stanton (2006). The matriarch of her family, Pat is survived by her loving children, Michael (Patti) Kelly, Patti (Mac) McNamara, Kathleen (Joe) O'Connell, and John (Kim) Kelly, all of whom loved her unconditionally. Beloved grandmother of nine: Kelly (Francesco) Azzollini, Kevin McNamara, Joey (Lauren) O'Connell, Erin (John) Alfuth, Sean (Heather) O'Connell, Denise (Dan) Iarussi, Kathleen Moberg, Michael (Jen) Kelly, and Tracy (Mike) Barrows. Cherished Nana of 18: TJ, Teagan, Dylan, Lucas, Lexi, Aliyah, Kai, Ryder, Katie, Danny, Dillon, Sophie, Connor, Charlotte, John, Addison, Maci, and Rori. She is also survived by many devoted, loving friends with whom she enjoyed spending time — whether at Mah Jong, card gatherings, social meetings, or church activities. Member of OLQP Rosary Altar Society and Auxiliary of Maywood American Legion.

The Funeral will begin from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, on Wednesday, November 26, at 8:45 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, 400 Maywood Ave, Maywood. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home.
