Frank J. Spina, 95, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on December 5th, 2025, at his home in Maywood, N.J. Son of the late Michael and Altomare Spina, Frank was born & raised in Hoboken, N.J., where he graduated from Demarest High School. He then worked as a printer at New Jersey Business Forms (and others) for 45 years, and served in the Korean War in the medical division, where he was chief of operations in the OR. Frank was an active member of St. Francis Church in Hackensack as an usher and Member of the Holy Name Society, and later became a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Maywood. Frank is survived by his beloved wife Mildred (Ciccarella) of 69 years, children Michael, Kenneth and Lynn, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. A prayer service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ.
