Annette R. Salvadeo (née Pepe), of South Hackensack, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, at the age of 93. Prior to retiring, she owned and operated with her husband Louis, Louanne's Beauty Salon in Hackensack for many years. Annette loved cooking for her family and was overjoyed by time spent with her children and grandchildren. Despite her challenges, she was always positive and radiated that energy to anyone who walked into her home. Beloved wife for 56 years to the late Louis F. Salvadeo (2013). Loving mother of Louanne Chiger and her husband Glen of Hillsdale, Louis Salvadeo III and his wife Michele of Spring Hill, Florida, and Tracey Ann Salvadeo of South Hackensack and her companion Jim. Cherished grandmother of Brandon, Kyle, Ashley and her husband Aaron, and Rachel. Loving great grandmother to Mason. Predeceased by her adored parents, Antonio and Theresa Pepe. Dearest sister of Rose Ascolese, the late Collette Scarpeachi, the late Daniel Pepe, the late John Pepe, the late Tony Pepe, and the late Filomena Pepe. Adored aunt of many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She will truly be missed by all for her unyielding kindness, warmth, and selflessness. A Prayer Service will be held 10:00 AM, on Thursday, January 15th, 2026, at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Washington Township. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM for visitation at the funeral home.
