Erinus Ciummo of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the age of 95 years. Born in Acquaviva D'Isernia, Italy, Erinus came to this country in 1973 and settled with his family in Hackensack. Prior to retiring he worked for B. Puntasecca Contractors, for many years. He was a parishioner at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved husband for 60 years to the late Cornelia Ciummo (2019), loving father of Irene Ciummo, Borghesia Mazzeo, Ornella Ciummo, Linda Ciummo and Vincenzo Reno Ciummo. Cherished grandfather of Breanna and Jonathan. The funeral on Thursday, February 26th, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street , Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack with entombment following at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Washington Twp.
