Myriam Taylor Obituary
Myriam Taylor (née Montalvo), of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the age of 92.
Born in Colombia, she came to the United States in 1966, settling in Hackensack, New Jersey. She later moved to Orlando, Florida, where she had lived for the past nineteen years.
She was the beloved wife for 58 years of the late Roberto E. Taylor, who passed away in 2012.
Myriam (Mami) was a devoted mother to Nestor Taylor and his wife Margarita, Adela Falquez and her husband Julio, the late Robert Taylor, Elizabeth Cogollo and her husband Carlos, Edward Taylor and his wife Annie, John Taylor and his wife Diane, Jeny De Berardinis and her husband Lou, and Richard Taylor. She was a cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was the dear sister of the late Mario Montalvo, Nora Maestre, the late Janeth Baena, the late Ivette Moo, Macario Montalvo, Edelma Montalvo, and the late Edgardo Montalvo.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, March 16, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM for visitation at G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, New Jersey.
Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, March 17, at 8:45 AM from the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, followed by interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack.
