Janice F. Weedo (née Solaro), of Paramus, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the age of 91 years. Janice is pre-deceased by her beloved husband the late Calvin C. Weedo (2018), with whom she built several business corporations, which are thriving to this day. Devoted mother of Jeffrey Weedo of Paramus. Dearest sister to Joan Solaro of Elmwood Park, and sister-in-law to Mary Weedo of Ormond Beach, Florida. Loving aunt to Janet Lee Masone and her husband John of Greenwich, CT, her nephew Ronald Adzima of Boca Raton, Florida, her nephew Keith Weedo of Ormond Beach, Florida, her nephew Timothy Weedo and his wife Becky of Ormond Beach, Florida, her niece Donna Weedo of Ormond Beach, Florida, her niece Nina Dodd of Daytona Beach, Florida and her great niece Janessa Monforte and her husband Jason of Port Chester, NY and their son Janice's adored great-great nephew Jason. Visitation will be held at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. A prayer service will begin on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 10 am at the funeral home and burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.
