Julianne Angelillo Obituary

Julianne Angelillo, 77 years old, passed away unexpectedly, on April 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 15, 1948 in the Bronx, NY. Julianne was the eldest daughter of the late Nicholas and Concetta Angelillo. After moving to Maywood in 1962, she graduated from Bogota high School in 1966, then went on to graduate with a B.A. from Fairleigh Dickson University in 1974 and then graduated from William Paterson University in 1999 with a Bachelors of Science Degree, earning the esteemed title Magna Cum Laude and was class Valedictorian achieving an RN/BSN degree in Nursing. Her passion was nursing and she went to work as a nurse in various hospitals, currently as a Wellness nurse at Brighton Gardens of West Orange, where she was loved and adored. She was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, strength, loyalty and sense of humor. Julianne enjoyed knitting and crocheting and loved watching old movies. She was a devoted sister to Janine Malave and her husband Hector and Netta Brienza and her husband Joseph. Julianne will be deeply and truly missed by all who knew and loved her. The Funeral will begin from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, on Friday, April 17, at 8:30 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, 400 Maywood Ave, Maywood. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 – 9:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Julianne to a Charity of your choice.
