Patricia Rose Gaillard Obituary
Patricia Rose Gaillard (Nee Cohn), 85, peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Patricia was born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 17, 1941 to Cyrus and Theresa Cohn and raised in West New York, New Jersey. She graduated from Memorial High School in 1959. She worked at Myron Manufacturing and Quest Diagnostics. Patricia had four sisters Theresa Van Hoorn, deceased (John) Carmelita Patricola, deceased (Paul), survived by Janice Barrett (Harry) & Joanna Kiselica (Bruce) as well as nephews, nieces great nephews and great nieces. Patricia is also survived by her loving husband, Pierre S. Gaillard of over 62 years. They were married at St. Joseph of Palisades R.C. Church of West New York, New Jersey on May 25, 1963. She was a devoted wife and mother and raised her children in North Bergen and Hackensack, New Jersey. Patricia is also survived by her two daughters, Lisa Ann (Gaillard) Wolak (Ray), Sandra Theresa (Gaillard) Guerra and her partner Tom Karnis. She was also blessed with four beautiful grandchildren, Raymond Wolak, Jacquelyn Wolak, Juliana Guerra and Andrew Wolak.
Patricia loved her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed going on picnics and taking trips across the United States with them. She even got to travel abroad. She sang for the church choir at St. Francis of Assisi in Hackensack, New Jersey. She was a very talented seamstress, knitter and crocheter. There are many fond memories of her and her daughters in matching handmade attire. She loved movies, music, picture taking and proudly wearing her Red White & Blue for parades and holidays.
Visitation will be held at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ on Thursday morning, April 16, 2026 from 10:30-12:30. The prayer service will begin at 12:30 at the funeral home, with the burial immediately following at George Washington Cemetery in Paramus.
