Francesca Fragapane (nee Di Piazza), of South Hackensack, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the age of 86 years. Francesca was born in Casteltermini, Province Agrigento, Sicily, Italy and came to the United States in 1962. She was a parishioner of the St. Francis R.C. Church in Hackensack. Beloved wife to Angelo Fragapane for 58 years. Loving mother to Gaetano Fragapane and his wife Jacqueline and Rosa Fragapane Padla and her late husband Michael (2014). Devoted grandmother of Angelo Michael Padla, Gianna Marion Padla, Angelo Fragapane and Jack Fragapane. Dearest sister of Connie Trupio and the late Vincenzo Di Piazza, Carmela Mea and Giuseppie Di Piazza. Francesca is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. The Funeral will begin on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
