Carlos M Cordova Obituary
Carlos Cordova of Elmwood Park, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, at age 83. Born on June 3, 1943, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Carlos was the beloved son of Carmen and Jaime Cordova. He carried the values instilled in him by his parents throughout a life defined by purpose, hard work, and quiet strength.
Carlos was, above all, a family man. He is survived by his three cherished children, Carlos, Gabriel, and Suzana Cordova, who were the pride of his life, and by his loving wife, Lourdes Vera, who stood by his side with unwavering devotion. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Gabriella, Cassandra, and Stefen, who brought him immeasurable joy.
A strategic and accomplished businessman, Carlos built his life around the principles of strategy, discipline, and perseverance. He was a provider in every sense of the word — a protector to those he loved and a man who expressed his devotion not always in words, but in the steady, faithful presence he offered his family throughout the years.
In his final days, Carlos held fast to his faith, trusting in the peace and promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. As it is written in 2 Timothy 4:7–8:
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day."
Carlos lived a full and meaningful life, and his memory will remain a source of comfort and strength for all who knew and loved him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
