John A. Foschino, age 70, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Born in Hackensack, New Jersey and raised in Maywood, John was a devoted husband of Iara Foschino, and a warm and loving brother and uncle. After attending Maywood Avenue School in Maywood and Bergen Tech High School in Hackensack, John eventually went on to work for McGraw Hill Publishers in New York City. A talented musician and drummer, John was a member of multiple bands throughout his musical career, and most recently you could find John on any given night entertaining New Jersey residents as a member of the Five Wheel Drive Band. John loved life. He loved playing his drums, he loved his dogs, and his coffee and bagels. John loved the simple things in life. He was a proud uncle and loved his parents, his wife, his siblings, his friends, and the cherished memories of his childhood. John is predeceased by his parents Josephine (Giacomazza) and John Foschino Sr. He leaves behind his wife Iara Foschino and his brothers Paul Foschino (Cathryn) and Thomas Foschino (Suzanne), as well as his nephews Evan, David, Thomas, and Paul Foschino, and his niece Nicole Foschino. Services for John will begin with a Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, 400 Maywood Ave, Maywood, NJ at 11:00 AM, followed by a wake and visitation from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home located at 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ.
