Obituary of Allen E. Gonalez

ALLEN E. GONZALEZ, of Ortley Beach, NJ formerly of Hackensack, died on Thursday March 25, 2010 at at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck at the age of 65 years. Prior to retiring in 2000. he worked for the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department for 32 years where he attained the rank of Sergeant. He was a Life member of the PBA local # 134 of Hackensack, and a parishioner of Church of the Immaculate Conception, Hackensack. He was a Navy veteran of the Viet Nam War. Beloved husband of the late Susan R. Vacirca Gonzalez (2007). Loving father of Allen Frank Gonzalez and his wife Eileen of Palisades Park. Dearest brother of the late Gerald Gonzalez. Allen is also survived by a special aunt, Mary DeFeo of Hackensack and many close relatives and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 29th, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack at 9:30 AM with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus. Visiting will be on Sunday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. Memorial donations to The American Diabetes Association, 19 Schoolhouse Road, Somerset, NJ 08873 would be appreciated.
