Obituary of Maria C. Santos

MARIA C. VARGAS SANTOS, of Hackensack, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the age of 77 years. She was born in Bonao, Dominican Republic and worked as a factory worker at PNY Company in Little Ferry, NJ. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church of Hackensack, was part of the Charismatic Prayer Group, a founding member of the Fatima Hispanic Committee and was a Eucharistic and Homebound Minister. Beloved wife of the late Angel Santos who died in 2012. Devoted mother of Mary Garcia and her husband Barbaro of Hackensack, Mercedes Felix and her husband Freddy of Hackensack, Jacklyn Taveras and her husband the late Elvis of Hackensack, Juana Ramirez and her husband Junior of Hackensack, Miguel Santos and his wife Jane of Franklin Lakes, Raymond Santos and his wife Pamela of Hackensack, Joel Santos of Hackensack and the late Clara. Loving grandmother of Madelyn, Yanelys, Angel, Michael, Christian, Andrew, Elvis, Kevin, Dove, Angie, Daniela, Kenny, Brian, Amy, Jay, Suleidy and Eslaine. Dearest sister to three brothers. The funeral will begin on Saturday, December 10th, 2016 at 9:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, 535 Hudson Street, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM for visitation.
