Obituary of Carmen De Gomez

Carmen Ortega De Gomez, of Ridgefield Park, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at the Teaneck Nursing Center at the age of 94 years, She was born in San Gil, Colombia. Beloved wife of the late Rodrigo Gomez who died in 1979. Devoted mother of Gladys Gomez of Ridgefield Park, Rodrigo Gomez of Colombia, Melba Gomez of Colombia, Olga Gomeza of Queens, NY, Beatriz Gomez of Queens, NY and Yezid Gomez of Levittown, NY. Cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 30th, at 11:00 AM at St. Francis R. C. Church, 114 Mt. Vernon Street, Ridgefield Park. Cremation will follow at Cedar Lawn Crematory in Paterson. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 – 5 PM.
