Obituary of Madeline Chirichella

MADELINE.ROTONDI CHIRICHELLA, of South Hackensack , passed away peacefully on Friday, August 27, 2010, at the age of 101 years. Prior to retiring in 1968, she worked as a seamstress for Goldberg Slipper Factory in Hackensack . She was a charter member of the Senior Citizen Club of South Hackensack and a parishioner of Church of the Immaculate Conception, Hackensack . She was a very strong willed and independent person, who enjoyed playing cards with her friends, crocheting and watching her beloved New York Mets play baseball. Beloved wife of the late Victor R. Chirichella (1997). Loving mother of Kathy McCotter and her late husband Wayne of Little Ferry, Mary Chirichella of South Hackensack and the late Victor Chirichella. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Keith, Michele, Kevin and Erin great grandmother of Ryan, Will, Sara, Joey, Zachary, Madeline and Aden . Dearest sister of Anthony Rotondi, Ann Dinallo and the late Tom, Nick, Sal and Robert Rotondi, Mildred Del Guidice and Addie Calcaine. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 30th, at10:00 AM, at Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue , Hackensack with burial following at St. Joseph 's Cemetery , Hackensack . Visiting will be on Sunday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. Memorial donations to the Hackensack Medical Center Hospice Program, 20 Prospect Ave , Hackensack , NJ 07601 , would be appreciated.
