Obituary of German Garcia

GERMAN GARCIA, of Bergenfield, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Englewood Medical Center, at the age of 52 years. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, he came to this country in 1976 settling in Englewood. He has lived in Bergenfield for 26 years. He worked as an accountant for Hartz Mountain Company of Secaucus for 24 years. He was a member of the Bergenfield United Soccer Club and the Cima Group of Bergenfield. He was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist R. C. Church of Bergenfield. Beloved husband for 26 years of Ana L. (Castania) Garcia. Devoted father of Michelle Garcia, Sebastian Garcia, and Nicholas Garcia all of Bergenfield. Devoted son of Gloria (Crespo) Garcia of Bergenfield and the late Hector H. Garcia. Dearest brother of Orlando Garcia of Bergenfield, Gladys Higuera of Bergenfield, Nelson Garcia of Bergenfield, Doris Garcia of Englewood, Martha Garcia of Cliffside Park, and Ricardo Garcia of Pembroke Pines, Florida. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 26th, at St. John the Evangelist R. C. Church, 29 North Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, at 10:00 AM with cremation following at Cedar Lawn Crematory in Paterson. Visiting will be on Tuesday evening from 6 - 9 PM.
